This process applies a unidirectional approach at disinfecting all surfaces, tabletops, chairs, walls, and fixtures. We focus on high traffic areas and leave your office or commercial space disinfected.
It has been reported that the novel Coronovirus COVID-19 can live on surfaces for up to 3 days and up to 24 hours on cardboard.
EQUIFECT ™ Disinfecting all Surfaces

- EPA approved chemicals with at least 70% alcohol, and most common EPA-registered household disinfectants should be effective.
- Diluted bleach as recommended can also be used for areas with proper ventilation as follows:
- Prepare a bleach solution by mixing:
- 5 tablespoons (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water or
- 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water
- For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. After cleaning:
EQUIFECT ™ SYSTEM
EQUIFECT ™ is about following a process with EPA recommended and approved chemicals. Your facility can be vacant or we can disinfect partially while staff is on site. Preferably, the process includes disinfecting all surfaces, walls, high touch areas, bathrooms, and fixtures where viruses and germs live. We also use UVA light on smaller areas for added protection.
Difference between cleaning and disinfecting
It is important to understand the differences between disinfection and cleaning. Cleaning is the process of removing visible dirt and dust from an area. This also includes organizing and other observable duties. Disinfecting on the other hand, is a process of killing germs, viruses, and other pathogens with a chemical.
